Evon Wasko is a mixed martial artist, dad and business owner. He started his martial arts training when he was 14 years old, competing in boxing in American Samoa. He then transitioned to kickboxing and muay thai in Hawaii and Northern California. In 2017, he started training Jiu-Jitsu and in 2021 he got certified through the Gracie HQ (Rener & Ryron Gracie) to teach Gracie Jiu-Jitsu in Davis CA.
In 2023 after securing the training facility and getting it class-ready, Evon quit his full-time maintenance job and went all-in on his dream: Teaching the community of Davis California Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, kickboxing and MMA.
His passion for martial arts is only eclipsed by his love for his students and community. When you come in to try out a class, you’ll understand why Evon is a beloved staple in the Davis community.
